About BCA

Bitterroot Capital Advisors ("BCA") is an independent, SEC-registered, financial advisory firm addressing the needs of select private individuals with substantial assets. We provide objective advice on managing wealth. Our core capabilities lie in dealing with complex financial situations - developing custom-tailored solutions and assisting clients with execution to achieve their long-term financial objectives.

APPROACH

Our approach is relationship-driven (as distinguished from being transaction-driven). As such, we provide our advice through continuing partner-level attention and personal interaction with our clients over long time periods. We routinely augment our own skills with that of other specialists (e.g. tax, legal, banking, etc.) as necessary. These may be advisors who have existing relationships with our client or, when appropriate, we can suggest additional outside expertise.

INDEPENDENCE

We are committed to providing advice that is completely objective. Therefore BCA does not, itself, manage client funds or offer fund-of-fund products. Furthermore, in order to be able to identify, evaluate and recommend world-class investment managers to clients without any real or perceived conflicts, we also avoid affiliations with fund managers, brokers and the like. We are paid solely by our clients and do not accept commissions, rebates or any other form of consideration from third parties.

CLIENT SELECTION

Our services are not for everyone. We attempt to match carefully BCA's strengths with our clients' needs. We believe that BCA delivers maximum value to those seeking relationship-oriented advice on complex financial issues - typically over an extended time period.

BCA has no prescribed minimum asset size for client selection. However, client resources should be such as to economically justify the customized, senior-level personal attention and service that BCA provides. We believe that our selectivity offers mutual benefits in that it matches BCA's strengths with a very small number of in-depth relationships.
